Pre Post-Natal

There are a lot of factors to stay healthy during and after pregnancy. It’s vital for the baby’s and your health to keep fit and recover well. The majority of our trainers at TWPT are experienced in pre and post-natal training, helping a range of our clients maintain fitness and recovery throughout their pregnancies.

Why do you need prenatal training?
During the leadup to giving birth, it’s important for your health and the health of your baby that you stay active and mobile. Prenatal training promotes all sorts of benefits that help your child develop efficiently and help you ease through the arduous experience that pregnancy can be:

● Improved circulation
Getting your heart pumping and blood flowing is vital to give yourself and your child proper oxygenation. The improved circulation of prenatal training also helps your body recover from the symptoms and side effects of pregnancy.

● Stronger muscles
The extra weight you put on during pregnancy can be tough on your back and knees, so it’s important to keep your muscles strong and sturdy enough to support your body as it goes through pregnancy.

● Weight management
Because it’s difficult to stay mobile and active during pregnancy, many women tend to have a hard time managing their weight. Our prenatal training ensures you stay at the recommended healthy pregnancy weight all the way until childbirth.

● Endurance
It’s no secret that pregnancy can deprive you of energy. Our prenatal training is designed to help your body endure the process as efficiently as possible.
You’ll love your newfound energy when you train with TWPT.

● Mental health
The last thing you need during your pregnancy is a bad mood. Exercise is a #1 way to improve your mood and mental health. Your hormones will be in better balance, so you’ll find yourself happier, sleeping better, and having higher confidence. You’ll wake up ready to take on the day!

Our clients report feeling a dramatic reduction in many complications of pregnancy, including:

● Pain and pregnancy symptom relief
● Aches and pain
● Fatigue
● Constipation
● Bloating

Furthermore, prenatal training has been proven to reduce the risks of:

● Gestational diabetes
● Preeclampsia
● Delivery by C-section

Why do you need postnatal training?
Postnatal training is the best way to recover after your 9-month journey. It’s not uncommon for your body to feel fatigued and exhausted after pregnancy, so we’re here to help you get back to your best as efficiently as possible. With TWPT’s postnatal training, you’ll enjoy several benefits, including:

● Strengthen core muscles
Pregnancies weaken your core muscles significantly, and it’s important to get them strong again to prevent injuries and promote mobility.

● Boost energy
Nobody likes feeling exhausted, especially after giving birth. Postnatal training is a great way to boost your energy naturally and healthily. You’ll love the newfound energy that you can take into every day.

● Improve sleep
Having healthy sleep is vital to recovering well. Postnatal training is fantastic to improve your sleep and help you feel rejuvenated after your pregnancy.

● Relieve stress
Physical exercise and being active are great ways for your body to naturally relieve stress. The lowered stress you have is sure to greatly improve your mental health. Stay relaxed and ready for anything with postnatal training.

● Lose extra weight
Postnatal exercise is the best way to regain your pre-pregnancy figure and lose the extra weight you put on during your pregnancy.

It’s important to follow a correct programme of exercise that takes into account the three trimesters, as with each trimester it’s essential to adapt your exercise programme as the body changes.
