About The Trainers

Your fitness matters. That is why we have the best trainers in Tunbridge Wells. All of them have their own specialities and their own ways of getting results. No matter who you choose to train with, all of our trainers are highly professional, friendly and totally committed to putting together highly effective, varied sessions that get results. All of our trainers are available from 6am until 10pm and are happy to fit around busy schedules.

Dan Green

Dan has a wealth of experience after being in the industry for over a decade, working with clients at all fitness levels and with a wide range of goals. He has achieved consistent success with people looking to:

  • Lose weight
  • Gain strength and muscle
  • Improve mobility
  • Pre/post-natal fitness

Dan also works with clients who have suffered with both acute and chronic back pain, and helped to rehabilitate clients post-surgery for hips, knees and persistent shoulder pain. His approach reduces pain and builds resilience, strength and mobility, reducing the chances of reoccurrence in the future.

Dan believes that educating clients as you go gives them the best opportunity for long-term sustained success. He also mentors trainers who are building their experience in the industry, both from within the studio and from other gyms.

Sam Rathmell

Sam is a highly skilled, well rounded trainer, who holds a sports Science degree from Loughborough University. He is a big advocate for functional fitness and will orchestrate enjoyable and diverse sessions that will have you leaving the gym moving better and feeling stronger.

Sam specialises in strength training, cardiovascular fitness, weight management, nutrition and uses his boxing and martial arts experience to make his sessions fun and effective. He also has great knowledge and understanding of sport specific training and lower back pain reduction. Sam has built an exceptional reputation with his clients through his friendly, motivational manner and the results he has achieved with them.

With a holistic approach to all things fitness Sam will ensure that you have the right tools necessary to optimise your health and wellbeing, whatever your goal.

Tom Theobald

Tom has been personal training for seven years since completing his degree in Fitness and Personal Training. He has a particular interest in biomechanics and postural correction, which comes in useful even during strength sessions or weight loss sessions as he can tailor each exercise to work in the most optimal way for each client.

He is also able to keep sessions fun with his vast kickboxing experience and ability to vary sessions from week to week. As with all of our trainers, Tom is friendly and professional and knows how to use nutrition alongside training to get results.

Vicky Young

Vicky has been in the fitness industry for just over 4 years, having originally come from a chefing background. Over this time she has continued her development by taking courses in non-specific lower back pain, studying injury rehabilitation, working on and building her nutritional knowledge, and mentoring with Dan once a week.

Vicky can help with weight loss, toning, muscle building and can help with integrating nutrition into your day-to-day lifestyle. Vicky creates a relaxed and professional environment for you to work in and is great at putting you at ease whilst still getting the best out of you at the right pace.

Ryan Robinson

Ryan is one of our most experienced personal trainers having been in the industry for over 10 years, he brings an amazing amount of knowledge and experience to TWPT and has a passion for results.

Coming from a sporting background having taught CrossFit and Olympic lifting, Ryan has expanded his abilities as a PT to specialise in,

  • Weight loss
  • Client motivation and psychology
  • Achieving results for clients with injuries and pathologies
  • Advanced resistance training
  • Advanced nutrition

Having coached athletes to success, Ryan uses his enthusiasm to focus on helping his clients achieve their goals,

Luke French

Luke is one of our most knowledgeable trainers. Having been in the industry now for 7 years he has helped multiple people achieve their health and body composition goals. 

Luke has a keen interest in studying resistance training and nutrition, which enables him to help people look and feel better, in the safest, most efficient way possible.

Specialising in weight training, nutrition, weight management and physique development, Luke has a proven track record of amazing results with clients that never fail to achieve long term success.

Jamie Wagland

Jamie has been a Personal Trainer for 9 years. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from years of 1/2/1 sessions.

Jamie is an expert in muscle building, strength training and nutrition, and has trained many pre and post natal clients.

Jamie has spent the last 2 years building skills in injury rehabilitation with particular focus on shoulders, lower back and knees. Jamie has built a strong track record of success with clients - in all areas - and continues to develop himself in order to continually improve as a trainer, through personal development and mentoring.

Jamie’s biggest strength is how approachable he is, Jamie can put any newcomer at ease whilst still displaying a passion that makes his sessions enjoyable.

Nathan Moseley

Nathan is an exercise enthusiast whose love for his own health, fitness and mental wellbeing is echoed in his 1-1 coaching. 

After joining the team at TWPT back in 2019, Nathan has built his clientele from the ground up and has become a well valued trainer after continually investing in his own self development in specific areas such as exercise mechanics, anatomy, nutrition and psychology.

Specialising in physique development and body composition goals, Nathan has a great ability to meet you where you are and then safely guide you to success. 

His wide skill set and friendly manner means that as a client, you can expect to achieve your desired goal whilst enjoying your experience along the way. 

Nathans motivation as a trainer is to help you get stronger, feel fitter, move with confidence and become educated along the way.

Andrew Ford

Andrew has worked with a variety of clients during his career as a personal trainer helping to building lasting relationships based on trust.  He creates an environment where clients can thrive & instils a belief that each small action can amount to big change.

"My overwhelming belief is that educating clients gives them the best opportunity for long-term success.  Cutting through the nonsense and noise that surrounds the fitness industry my endeavour is to teach clients the most simple, safest and effective way to lose weight and/or build muscle. I am a strong believer that if you enjoy the process you are more likely to succeed in the long term."

Christian Lawall

"Christian is an approachable, growth-minded trainer who views fitness as a means of not only improving your physical health, but your mental & emotional health too.

Having spent 4 years in the United States playing football & studying psychology, he has the ability to quickly understand & connect with people from a variety of backgrounds.

What’s more, he appreciates the importance of treating you as the unique individual that you are; he’s devoted to understanding you, your needs, & what makes you tick.

Christian views health from a holistic perspective & holds an excellent track record of helping clients to adjust their lifestyle to lose weight & improve their health. 

Lastly, he is deeply passionate about helping clients become strong, confident, & resilient - so that they can perform at their best in life outside of the gym."
