Strategies for incorporating exercise into busy lifestyles

With kids, Jobs, other family commitments it's hard to find that time to prioritise your health & wellbeing. Here are my strategies for incorporating exercise into busy lifestyles:

1. Planning & Preparation: Elevate the importance of exercise by scheduling workouts as non-negotiable appointments in your calendar. 

2. Bodyweight Exercises: Acquire proficiency in bodyweight exercises such as squats, push-ups, and planks, recognising their versatility & minimal time requirements. 

3. Utilise Lunch Breaks: Transform breaks into opportunities for physical activity, choosing to engage in a brisk walk instead of passive smartphone use, thereby infusing movement into your routine. This can become part of your daily habits that you consider non-negotiable, even if thats a 15 minute walk with the dog.

4.  Home Workout: Invest discerningly in home workout essentials, such as resistance bands or dumbbells without the necessity of a gym membership. Theres a huge array of exercises, mobility, stretches and cardio that can be completed with no travel time and little resistance.

5. Planning and Organisation: Proactively plan weekly workouts, detailing the specific nature, timing, and duration of each session, create a structured approach that enhances adherence.
